5.9 Magnitude Earthquake hit Southern Philippines

A 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit the southern Philippines on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 3:58pm as recorded by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology. The epicenter was located 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) off the Dinagat Island , southeast of Surigao del Norte.
23 injured
The strong earthquake sparked a mall stampede that injured at least 20 people. Three others were injured when a cable broke in a gym.

the last felt earthquake I remember was in March 2010, it is very short but I felt it so strong I am in the 2nd floor of the office doing transcription..i thought the person beside me pulled hard my chair, till everyone notice its an earthquake, I would surely panic if it happened for a few more minutes.
