ABS-CBN again proved that it has all the best personalities in the Philippine Television as it swept 19 of the 30 awards in the recently held 8th USTv Students’ Choice Awards at the UST Medicine Auditorium on February 16, 2012 with the theme “Promoting Positive Values in Pop Culture on Television."
8th USTv Students’ Choice Awards
The award giving body is organized and aimed at recognizing TV personalities and programs that promote values and in harmony with the Catholic teachings (ABS-CBN Showbuzz Feature). Last year in the 7th USTv award, the network bagged 15 awards.
University of Santo Tomas (UST) is the oldest university in the Philippines, founded on April 28, 1611 by archbishop of Manila Miguel de Benavides.
