Artic Polar Bears And Seals Tell Us We're In Serious Trouble
You might ask yourself what Artic Polar Bears or Seals have to do with you, environmentalist or not, you need to pay attention to what Nature is trying to the the human race.

Ring Seals Exposed To A Terrible Skin Condition
There is a group of seals in the Artic called the Ring Seals, they hardly ever come ashore, so scientists haven't been able to count them in decades. For the past month or two, scientists have observed more seals coming ashore, to find they have lesions or blister like bumps on them that break when touched.
Scientists have found hundreds of them throughout the shoreline of northern Alaska on the Artic shore. They aren't sure what is causing this skin condition among the seals, but they know they need to find out soon, before it takes over other species of wild life. It's sad to know you see animals that are so helpless, and there is very little you can do to help.
Artic Polar Bears Effected To Same Skin Condition
Since scientists started seeking out the Ring Seals that were affected with the skin conditions. Scientists have run across Polar Bears with lesions and bald spots in their fur around their nose and face. Since seals are a big source of the Polar Bears diet, they believe that when a Polar Bear kills a seal, the blood surrounds the facial area, and contaminates the skin of the Polar Bear.
Until science can find the culprit of what is causing this, they don't know how to fix it. It's bad enough to know the hundreds of animals that are being effected on their skin, but what is it doing to the insides of the Polar Bear after ingesting a contaminated Ring Seal.
Nature Is Talking, Human's Need To Listen
Me personally, I don't know what's causing these kind of things to happen to our wildlife, and it's sad to see man is to blame. I'm willing to put a bet on Japan's Fukushima Nuclear Plant that was hit with the Tsunami in January 2011. The whole west coast of Hawaii and the United States is covered with debris from Japan, when the ocean waters brought it across the Pacific Ocean. And you know there had to be radioactive materials and water that also was spilled into the ocean, no matter what Japan says. The way the currents run in the oceans in that area, radioactive water was sure to have made it into the Artic.
It's just a hunch, but what if the radio activity started with the fish in the Artic. The seals eat the fish, and become contaminated, and the Polar Bears eat the seals, passing it on from one to the other.
I hope the scientists find out soon what is causing the problem so they can fix it. But people do need to be aware, that the waste humans create is destroying the environment, and life.
