Several horses have recently been killed - One beheaded, left on a beach next to a driftwood cross with the body of a dead seagull on top of it - in horrifying events that some observers have said could be the work of black magic worshippers performing gruesome rituals.

It was on Pentewan beach near Mevagissey, Cornwall, on Bank Holiday Monday that the beheaded horse was discovered, some ironic, sick joker having written Rest in Peace in the sand beside the horrible corpse, the pregnant mare found near Gainsborough in Lincolnshire.

These truly dreadful killings followed that of a stallion called Eric - found dead in Cornwall with genitals hacked off. right eye gouged out and teeth removed, his demise coincidentally on a day of satanic animal sacrifice, so that a ritualistic motive could not be ruled out by investigators
Recent weeks in St Tudy in Cornwall have seen three bullocks being mutilated with blunt instruments. The main witness of the beach scene was a fisherman who commented that the beheading of the horse gad appeared to him to have been removed surgically, because it was such a clean cut.
He further stated that the macabre tableau was obviously the work of somebody who is sick and needs help, the scenario looking as if some sort of black magic ceremony has taken place.”
The heartbroken Lincolnshire family, desperate to catch the sick thugs who mutilated their 19-year-old pregnant horse Penny, are offering a £1,000 reward, the devastated Rupert Worrell, finding her covered in blood and barely alive, was adamant that the poor creature had been restrained before the attack was carried out
Why anyone would do something like this beggars belief, but such odd occurrences always coincide with a full moon between the 2nd and the 7th of May, the unfortunate Penny on the 4th May, when the supermoon was brightest. Wildlife crime officer PC Nick Willey was horrified by this senseless and savage crime, resulting in the death of a horse and her unborn foal, and urged the horse owning community to extra vigilance for unusual activity, which should at once be reported to the authorities.
