Both Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce Prophecies Occurring in 2012

These are the prophecies of Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce on what may be in store for us in 2012. It certainly does not look good. And what looks even more bizarre is that both prophets point to the same catastrophes occurring in the coming months.
Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce Prophecies for 2012
Nostradamus and 2012. I cannot think of two other words that put fear and trepidation into so many people. But what makes the predictions of Nostradamus believable and very worrisome is how many other psychics and cultures have also put the year 2012 as either a disastrous year or even the end of the world as we know it. Below I have listed both Nostradamus predictions and Edgar Cayce's views on what is to come in 2012. I must warn you that these predictions are pretty disturbing and do not look good for the Earth or us humans.
Nostradamus Predictions:
1.) A comet will either hit the Earth or come very close to the Earth causing earthquakes and other natural disasters. This can be seen in his following quatrain: “In the sky will be seen a great fire dragging a trail of sparks”.
2.) There are other interpretations of this quatrain in that the comet might dislodge a large asteroid which could then impact the Earth. Upon hitting the Earth's atmosphere, the asteroid would heat up very rapidly causing a trail of sparks. Some people even interpret the quatrain as several of the major countries on the Earth would launch nuclear weapons to try and break this up in space but upon impact, the debris would still cause fire and small pieces of the asteroid to strike the Earth.
3.) After the tragedies that the comet will bring, there is a prediction that there will be widespread anarchy and certain nations will take advantage of this situation which will end up bringing the third world war upon the Earth. The following quatrain seems to suggest this: “King of terror shall come from the sky. He will bring to life the King of Mongols.” Most people interpret this being the country of China or possibly North Korea.
4.) Other predictions concern the fate of certain nations and even how long the comet will be upon the Earth. The comet duration can be seen in the following quatrain: “The Great Star will blaze for Seven days” . The following quatrains are interpreted as the fate of both the United Kingdom and Rome, Italy. “The Huge dog will howl at night, when the great pontiff will change lands”. The dog symbolizes Great Britian and the pontiff would point to the pope according to most interpretations.
Edgar Cayce Predictions:
1.) Most people interpret this as Cayce's most disturbing prophecy for 2012: "Watch New York, Connecticut and the like. Many portions of the east coast will be disturbed, as well as many portions of the west coast, as well as the central portion of the United States. Los Angeles, San Francisco, most of all these will be among those that will be destroyed before New York, or New York City itself, will in the main disappear. This will be another generation though, here; while the southern portions of Carolina, Georgia, these will disappear. This will be much sooner. The waters of the Great Lakes will empty into the Gulf of Mexico."
2.) Edgar Cayce also predicted that there would be volcanic eruptions and huge earthquakes in the Southern hemisphere more than the Northern hemisphere. He also claimed that land masses in the sea would rise forming new islands and continents.
3.) Cayce also mentions that there will be major problems in the following countries which disturbingly is going on right now: Egypt, Syria, Lybia, Ankara and there will also be problems in the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf.
So, will next year, 2012, bring about the end of the world as we know it. It is pretty disturbing that these two very infamous psychics point to major disasters heading for the Earth over the next year. But there is some hope at the end of the tunnel. If you believe in the prophecies in Nostradamus then you will be glad to hear that he wrote predictions all the way until at least 3797. So it looks like even though we may have major disasters to deal with, the human species and the Earth will survive for many years still to come.

It's March 14th today. We know now that a meteorite did hit earth and a meteor passed right by us. The poles are shifting. This just leaves me with a bad feeling that the worst is still to come...
