The cluelessness, detachment and insensitivity of some folks is simply astounding.
Congressman David Dreier (R-Ca)
On Monday evening, July 9, 2012, Congressman David Dreier, a Republican from California, during a debate on the GOP's bill to eliminate the Affordable Care Act, said that insurance companies should be allowed to discriminate against people with brain tumors and not be required to cover them. You just have to love the way the Republicans so faithfully defend the interests of their constituents - the corporations who have bought and fully paid for their services.
Strategic Health Care
From the "Let them eat cake" file: Strategic Health Care, a lobbying firm that bills itself as "widely respected for our expertise," is throwing a party for congressional staffers next week. They want to get together and - I guess, from the way the invitation reads - trade stories about the poor white trash who can't afford the health care services and meds they peddle.

Goes right along with the powers that be not wanting to provide "Smoke Eaters" with health and hospitalization because fighting wild fires is considered seasonal or part-time work. I, for one, signed the petition to get them and their family's health care.

Excellent point Steve. The fact is the USA is the naked face of capitalism. However the alternative of communism is worse.

No - I delete your comments because they are grossly inaccurate. You said that I wrote that David Dreier called people white trash, when I said nothing of the kind. You said I called people white trash, when I said nothing of the kind. All anyone has todo is read the article to see how completely off-base and inaccurate you were with your comments. I deleted your comments to save you the embarrassment of scores of people seeing how mistaken you were . By the way, Congressman Dreier is gay, and you have written that you have no time for homosexuals, so why are you defending him? Isn't he an unChristain sinner in your book?
