It is most popular game in the world. It has become less than a game and more than fun. The daily new experiences of the cricket authorities are taking it to some unknown direction. There is a divided opinion over the novel experiences in this field but one opinion is unanimous that it has become the best source of full day(s) entertainment. It is the greatest fun to watch cricket. The T20 cricket, the sixes tournaments and such other practices are making it more than fun.
This game is popular among all and sundry. Like this each and every feature of cricket is full of fun. Fast bowling has its charisma; spin bowling has its own charisma. The fielding is favorite field of many a few players and batting is the fascination for others.
This game is full up with the fun. The fame of the game can be anticipated from the fact that there are many TV channels showing only cricket and there are many pc games showing cricket. There are many websites that are showing cricket live and others are specialized for one aspect or the other. Some show the catches the others show only the spicy hits. All the aspects of this game are separately photographed for fun and enjoyment. Cricket and fun are vital for each other. Cricket without of fun is not understood as cricket and fun without cricket is meaningless. It would not be an exaggeration if we name cricket as an entertainment instead of a sport.
The latest development in this entertainment is the involvement of the actors. The Indian cricket league has made it a risky business too. Since primary stages it was full of fun and enjoyment. Cricket was the source of entertainment for the upper or noble class.
It was a source of basking under the sun for the people who were engaged too much in their mundane affairs. Afterwards it became a popular sport and common people took part in it.
The popularity of the fun is so great that the venues are booked before hand and the spectators prepare for watching before the commencement of the show. People from far off places used to come near the playground a few days earlier so that they might reach the ground well in time.
They can not afford to miss even a single moment of the fun as a film spectator does not want to miss any minor action of the film. The fun of cricket has increased manifold .Its changed shapes and styles increased the fun.
Now we are in doubt to call cricket a game. It has lost all the qualities of cricket and has become cricket in the idiomatic sense. It is not a sporting activity but a source of fun and entertainment and just like a Hollywood or Bollywood blockbuster.
It is therefore suggested to kindly change its name. The authorities are better able to spoil its name too as they have spoiled the game.
