After being caught deleting user account email’s and replacing them with a new Facebook email without the knowledge of there clients, Facebook has been forced to promise that they will look into thousands of complaints from there users.
Facebook caught in email fixing charge
Facebook has tried to downplay this outrageous action as nothing more than a software bug. Anyone who activated Facebook Contact Sync using Blackberry, Android phones, and Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 have been affected. Just the point Facebook engineered a piece of software designed for the sole purpose of copying over a members "primary email addresses" should in my opinion require an investigation at the highest level.
The last question that should be asked is” If Facebook is willing to try and sneak in a system such as this without a clients approval, what else have they done or attempted to do behind peoples back?
I would strongly advise all user’s to ask this question of Facebook to insure all personal information is safe.
