Dying is just like taxes in the respect that it is going to happen to you and me. Over history, we realize it doesn't matter who you are, you are going to face death. Famous people have no secret weapon against death. They are just like you and I. They will die. We will die. Death is a part of life. However, many of us look forward to eternal life in Heaven. After we all pass from this world, I hope to meet each one of you in a better place called Heaven.

What Happened Today in History?
1672- Isaac Newton reads 1st optics paper before Royal Society in London
1887 - The Dawes Act authorized the President of the United States to survey Native American tribal land and divide it into individual allotments.
1910- The Boy Scouts of America is incorporated by William D. Boyce.
1942 - Congress advises FDR that, Americans of Japanese descent should be locked up en masse so they wouldn't oppose the US war effort
1986 - 1984 Summer Olympics head of the LAPD bomb squad, Arleigh McCree, and his partner Officer Ronald Ball of the Firearms and explosives unit were killed while trying to dismantle two pipe bombs when they responded to a call. McCree was recognized as one of the top explosive experts in the world.

1862-1956 - Connie Mack was a famous baseball manager for the Philadelphia A's, 1901-50 who won five World Series Championships as a Major League Baseball manager, played eleven years as a player, voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937 by the Veterans Committee-owner of the Philadelphia Athletics from 1936-1954
1904-1982 - John Hay Whitney was a US newspaper magnate who was the US Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Publisher of the New York Herald Tribune and a member of the Whitney family
1901-1985 - William Lyons was a British automobile manufacturer who was known as “Mr. Jaguar” was the founder of the Jaguar Company which started out as the Swallow Sidecar Company
1934-1990 - Del Shannon was a rock vocalist who sun the famous #1 song Runaway, he shot himself at 50 while suffering from depression
1967-2000 - Derrick Thomas was a famous NFL football player who played Linebacker/Defensive End for the Kansas City Chiefs who had 126.5 sacks in his career. Derrick Thomas was an All-Pro NFL football player who was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame of 2009; he was paralyzed in a car accident and died from a massive blood clot.
1967-2007 –Anna Nicole Smith was a 1993 Playboy Playmate of the year and tabloid fixture dies suddenly at 39, Anna Nicole Smith married Billionaire J. Howard who was elderly and inherited money from him upon his passing, she died of combined drug intoxication, accidental overdose
1932-2010 - John Murtha was an American politician who was a US Representative from the state of Pennsylvania for 36 years as a Democratic
