Friendship in Merdeka Palace, a Blind Person Dead, President Concerned

Presidential Spokesperson, Julian Aldrin Pasha, said the President concerned about the death of a blind, in an incident the crush at the gate, enter the State Palace, which is bordered by Jalan Majapahit, Friday (10/09/2010).

"That's essentially what we need to convey to the community, with a deep sense of concern, people who intend friendship with the President, in order to maintain restraint and to avoid an unwanted situation," he told reporters Friday afternoon.
As reported, a blind, Jhony Malela, was killed in the crush incident in front of the Istana Negara, at around 15:15. Jhony suffocated and were trampled, while awaiting entry into the region of the State Palace.
Jhony addition, thousands of people since this morning, had flocked to the Istana Negara. They waited at the curb, in the middle of the hot weather. Besides those killed, dozens of women also collapsed, because of fatigue and jostling.
Hectic society who came to the Palace today, among others, because there is news circulating that the court distribute envelopes of Rp 300,000 per person.
"No real news like that. If the public hearing, I make sure it's not true. The news was not sourced from within the Presidency. Now being studied, give us time to explore it," he said.
