GATE 2014 Counselling

GATE 2014 counselling will begin soon. Since most of the colleges conduct their individual counselling procedure, candidates will have to apply separately for each one. Most of the IITs have their own counselling procedure. NITs take part in the GATE counselling through CCMT, which will start in mid April.

GATE counselling procedure may include written test followed by personal interviews. The test round may be skipped by some institutes as GATE score is given the most weightage. Students, who scored very high marks, can even be given direct admission in the IITs or NITs.

GATE counselling news and notification will be published in the leading newspapers and online career portals by the participating institutions individually. Students are advised to stay in touch with the latest news and updates, and apply as soon as there is an admission notification.
