The generation now just beginning to come of age is an awakened group.
Generation Waking Up
All over the world, young people are socially networking in order to create new possibilities for a sustainable world which works for all of us. They are the most savvy generation ever, and they look at problems and seek solutions which are practical, life-affirming and all-inclusive. This is the generation born between 1984 and 1996, all of whom have Pluto in Scorpio, and most of whom were born under the conjunction of Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn. We have written before that these young people born under the Uranus-Neptune conjunction in Capricorn look at the world in a very down-to-earth manner. They search for practical, commomn-sense solutions (Capricorn) to the world's problems. And with Pluto in Scorpio, they are acutely aware that they are the ones charged with giving re-birth (Pluto) to a new world out of the ashes of the old world's destruction (Scorpio).

The youth have awakened, as have those of Russia. Gorbachev remarked recently that he's glad to live long enough to see them realizing "We are the power."

I am a young person and very politically aware and minded, too. I have seen many things this year but the one idea that defines this crucial period in time, in my opinion, is that is young people all over the world are coming together in many tones to say one thing. "If you don't change a problem, we will not budge until you do."
Witness the politicisation of a generation. It's great to be a part of.

In a way, do they have a choice? They have a lot of trash to clear! I keep reading of late that the present generation will be less prosperous than the earlier one.
