Guardian is not a game, but an useful app which brings you news update! With Good UI too!
Guardian, not a game!
If you read the post about APPK GEEK, you should know that it is just like the other news reading apps, that it is not supporting the Offline reading mode. User without an unlimited data plan many not be able to access the news details. You need to stay online in order to read some news details. Otherwise, after you offline, you can only read the news summary that you have downloaded to you phone at last time you online.
Guardian is not the same. If you access to android market and read the app descriptions, you can find a big good news: It support both online and offline reading.
That's the point surprised me and I download the app immediately.
I was really happy with the app, once I start the app, it automatically sync the news articles down, which is very fast. I've used other similar apps before, but they always take times to sync down words for offline reading.
Another happy point is that the app not only sync the news articles, but also multimedia videos! Can you image how good is that?
One disadvantage that I find is that, it seems that the app does not allow user to choose their favorite channels. It do provide some specific channels, but you cannot add your own channels through rss.
