President Barack Obama’s visit to India has created indelible memories in the India minds. He has pressed all the right buttons to keep up a good relationship between India and the United States. India is still under the Obama wave!
India Still Under the Obama Wave
He came. He saw. He conquered. And the hearts of India are still under the spell of Obama mantra! His words to the youth of India are still inspiring filling their nerves with a fresh energy to focus their attention to the victory of hard work.
A star from the west
The festival of lights, Diwali, dawned in India with the rise of a twinkling star from the west. Yes, a star of hope came from the west in the person of Obama, carrying the message of cooperation and mutual participation in world development. His effort to develop green technology has become a beam of hope during this struggling period of recession. He hopes that the global race to develop green technology could help resuscitate the down-trend. With his investing billions to help stimulate the green economy has brought to the darkened economy a twinkling ray of hope.
Obama’s ‘win-win’ relationship with India
President Obama’s visit to India is hoped to boost the economy of both India and the US. On his arrival at Mumbai, he announced a host of new trade deals with India supporting tens of thousands of U.S. jobs. He assured that he would relax some export regulations that have complicated trade between America and India, a fast-growing country of 1.2 billion people.
Michelle Obama’s dance in the hearts if Indian children
US First Lady Michelle Obama is an undisputed hit in India after winning hearts of the children of India. She talked with them. She played with them hopscotch and missing letters games. She danced with the underprivileged children. By telling her own childhood experiences, a journey of struggle and poverty, she touched the strings of their emotions. For them she is still a dream in reality.
Obama magic on the Indian youth
Obama appreciated the youth power of India. The Obama couple’s greeting ‘Namaste’ was a wave of honor to the Indian youth. Boys of tenth standard dragged Obama on to the floor and danced with him. The simplicity of his dress code was another spell on them. He praised the awareness of Indian youth about the environment. He enjoyed their exhibition on green energy which has been one of his missions.
Culmination at the parliament speech
Obama conquered all the Indian hearts through his historic speech in Parliament. It won several rounds of applause when he highlighted the fight against terrorism. He was determined to eradicate terrorism when he mentioned about ‘safe havens within the borders’.
India and the USA are the largest democratic countries of the world. They have the great responsibility of maintaining peace in the world. If they work together with open hearts, they both can be benefited and do much to the whole world.
