It's all starting to hot up now that we are closing ever nearer to the start of the new premiership season!

NORWICH have apparently fallen short with a £5m bid for CELTIC's GARY HOOPER, with the Scottish giants requiring £8m for his services.

FULHAM look to be losing CLINT DEMPSEY to LIVERPOOL, that looks almost certain but apparently Martin Jol is digging his heels in wanting CHARLIE ADAM in exchange plus cash, which in turn is dealing any finalisation of any deal.

ASTON VILLA, EVERTON and again FULHAM all apparently fighting for the signature of CARDIFF's PETER WHITTINGHAM, with Villa looking favourites with a bid of £6m.

ARSENAL's unwanted striker could be on his way to SUNDERLAND for a discount £2.5m. I'm not sure Arsenal will take that much of a loss on him though.

Starting with Arsenal, they are rumoured to be in the process of buying CAZORLA from MALAGA for £16m.

A real wild rumour that looks totally unbelievable to myself is MAN UTDs DARREN FLETCHER on loan to NEWCO RANGERS!! Unless it's some kind of rehabilitation process for the young midfielder, this seems very far fetched !

WEST HAM have offered ANDY CARROLL an astonishing £36m contract to join them at Upton Park, but mumbles are that he has no interest in coming to London. If that turns out to be the case, allegedly the Hammers will try and land old favourite CARLOS TEVEZ from MAN CITY!

REAL MADRID may pull out of purchasing LUKA MODRIC from TOTTENHAM as Spurs are asking for too much money up front.

STOKE have offered £2m for WOLVES winger MICHAEL KIGHTLY. I personally think his talents are worth a bit more than that.

MAN CITY looking likely to try and prise hotshot HIGUAIN from REAL MADRID for £35m.

WIGAN likely to land IVAN RAMIS after his move to WEST HAM fell thorugh.

FULHAM and BLACKBURN are locking horns over a potential purchase of Huddersfield's prolific striker, JORDAN RHODES.

KOLO TOURE will turn down a move to Turkey and see out the last year of his contract with champions MAN CITY.
