A weightlifter claims he accidentally shot himself by dropping a dumb-bell on a bullet.
Los Angeles
A weightlifter who lives in Los Angeles claimed he accidentally shot himself by dropping a dumb-bell on a bullet. The man of 56 said the accident happened when he was lifting weights in his home in Modesto, California. He told police he dropped one of his dumb-bells on a 22 caliber bullet which then flew up and hit him in one of his the shoulders. Police were not sure about the truth of the man's story. Officers said it was suspicious. But they admitted it wasn't completely improbable.
