It is, of course, a great achievement in the annals of human history. Within minutes after the landing, the first images have reached the earth from Curiosity’s cameras, showing pebbles, dust, and the shadow of the rover on the surface of Mars. This achievement has strengthened man’s hope of perfect execution, in spite of earlier failures. It was in 1996 that NASA announced that life may have existed on Mars. With perseverance and positive hope the dream of reaching a planet has come to life on August 6, 2012. At a total cost of 2.5 billion dollars, America has executed this, hoping for a better tomorrow of humanity.

On August 6, 1945, the American B-29 bomber, named as “Little Boy” was dropped over the center part of Hiroshima city in Japan. It was the first atomic bomb used on an inhabited area, killing 140,000 people and mutilating every hope of humanity. That unfortunate event in history has filled everyone with the fear, “When will be the next bombing that is going to annihilate human existence?”
