Ode to Wikinut Detractors.......whoever they are, wherever they be

Someone out there is really having a go at this great site and I do not mean Buzz! Whoever it is they should know that jealousy prompts this kind of behavior and it is such a shame so I ask them to turn to the Light and to loving acceptance.
A Critic's critic
It seems you have a lot of to say. A lot of nothings to mouth off about. I wonder why.
You criticize the work of others without considering that they write from their hearts which you perhaps have clothed in black ...I mean your heart! They are doing the very best they can!
You hate the one whose poetry is a dance in motion that goes on and one reaching heights that you could never touch or perhaps you could if you would change your stinking attitude. You hate the beauty of a woman's body which can be one of the most fantastic things to gaze upon but then I don't know who looks back when you look in the mirror. Oh oh oh jealousy can really poison your mind!
Influences upon you being as you are now
Depending where you were brought up, raised, dragged along the ground all have influenced whom you are today. If you dwell in darkness, it is because you were never shown the Light. To dwell in the Light, you love beauty and caring and sharing from a loving space inside and from the way you write about others, that space must be awfully small and dark. Perhaps once you did know the Light and you turned away because it was so bright and reflected parts of you that you did not like so you blamed others and turned into the darkness.
What does the darkness bring forth: sorrow and pain, negativity and pain, hate and pain, dis-ease and pain. An awful lot of pain for sure which probably is why you want to inflict it on others. Believe you me, that does not lessen your pain...it can make it worse for the True Self within (and you have one too believe it or not) will take everything you create and send out on others then take it back into itself and voila, you find yourself in the midst of all of your creation. Pain, pain and more pain!!!!
And when you separate yourself from others, guess who is separated!!!
Look up into the Light
So my dear whoever you are I really wish you well on this your journey through the hell of your own making. Look up into the Light and see the beauty in all things, be commoners or kings we all do share a common bond that of the Soul that makes us one.
this is not meant to inflict on anyone just to help point the way into a more loving attitude to other writers....

Well I dont think knocking down ones diction and learning ability was necessary...to me two wrongs never make a right.. I don't know who this was aimed at and don't care... I never listen to propaganda anyhow so don't worry what is said goes in one eye and out the other so to speak....
I'm not leaving wiki any time soon I like all you nuts too much...

As much as I love the general feelings of Buzz it is when goes into rant mode as he has done on one of my pages recently. Now I do love and value all comments, but I am not so sure I like them when they are off topic.

My apologies, Peter. You can always delete them. I never liked myself being outspoken and brutally frank when being confronted with issues but that's the way I am. Thanks, Peter, for the criticism.

One should be free to express ones feelings without jealousy or pain and learn to criticise work not the person.
One of the biggest problems I faced out here on Wikinut is the lack sport in commenting, anger jealousy etc. I have personally been called a pedophile, donkey konk and what not or yea, even criticized for my looks etc.by jealous fans who have nothing better in life but to pick on people to further their vested interests.
I know what you are echoing and feel for you, I really do.
Living in the NOW means accepting who you are, what you do and taking feedback constructively and above all maintaining composure when these are thrown at you. Its when things reach fever point, I lash out and give it straight to the source of emanation wherein I kill the root cause of the evil at the source and just turn and walk away with nothing to do with any of them, but I do come back to teach a thing or two if they are willing to accept. Not all are receptive.
The beauty of the Light is that I always love looking at the the Sun for illumination and cosmic vibes as I believe its the single most source of energy that brings all things to life.
Its hot, peaceful and calm with bountiful riches that spreads to all four corners of the world and brings into the Heart of Sea the life that sea creatures also experience the magic of.
I personally don't care about the hurtful criticism any more, its part of underdeveloped minds who talk small things like people rather than discuss events and solutions that would aid in making life better as a whole.
With regard to Buzz, Jimmy has his moments when he loses it, he is just temperamental, he has done that to me too and finally apologised too. Don't take him seriously, he is harmless.
Here is a personal account that made me a writer:
I had a journalist fan who used to read every line and edit my work on the comments sections apart from leaving a remark. I loved it and just changed my work to incorporate it and it increased my writing ability as he give me a new outlook in life as well as writing.
Three ways to look at it: 1) Mourn about the type of feedback received 2) Ignore it
3) Take the feedback and make a change and improve oneself.
I take the latter.
Take care, know you are not the biggest fan of me, but Just thought I would share it....

I agree with the article, if the person doesn't like it he simply turns the page. I am not a good writer but i try and enjoy what i m doing, the thing about wikinut is people comment so you know you are being read.

Thoughtful complaints do not and need not equal categorical rejection... None of us, nor the things we create - are or ever shall be perfect ...It's the basic Wiki of life ...:-}

A wonderful article to make everyone think of life itself and how to face it. Positive and negative thoughts spring from the same source. So it is up to us. Words once spoken cannot be taken back, so we have to think ahead when we express strong views. That does not mean we just keep quite. I fight negative thoughts tooth and nail, analyze them for what they are and if it is not going to benefit anyone, just forget it! I had great time with another site for two years with many times articles than here and although I do not contribute there now, I respond to comments from dear supporters. We move on without rancour to keep our coscience at ease. Thanks dear cnw, for putting matters under the right perspective - siva

You are right, this is a controversial page, but good on you for expressing what is in your heart. I cringe whenever people criticise a writing site. My thoughts are, if you don't like it, leave. I may not be obvious on any of the sites I write for at the moment, but I'm still around.

I don't think I'm the subject of this page. My point is clear. I criticize the site with the view to OTHERS outside wiki to disabuse their minds of prejudices and biases and that cannot happen if this Wiki site I truly love stays unperturbed despite "the arrows of misfortune hitting their mark, and I tell you they did. And yet, nothing was done to improve the shattered image. I just wish every one here should not have a very myopic view of my critique for my motive was for the good of every one concerned. At any rate, I'm not the subject of Carolan's article, Val, though I should be included, as Peter said, but only in a qualified sense since most of you disregarded my honest motive, which is for wiki to dispel its image of being an uncaring and insensitive site, not to mention a site where - as most everyone knows by now - doesn't pay its writers well enough to keep them for very long.

The fact seems to be that Wiki is only for wealthy people who write for the sheer pleasure of it, and for poor people like most of us to criticize it for insensitivity and for bringing up the issue of fair compensation should leave as Val is suggesting, which is way off at a tangent. At the end of the day, will Wikinut change or not for the better? If not, I leave for good, even requesting the site to pleade with the admin to void my account and what little I have earned they can donate to charity!

Buzz... I love writing here but like i said my first week here there are some flaws that could be easily fixed to make it run better and work better for all... I find myself wondering if there really is a chief nut at all...We seem to all bounce ideas and solutions off one-another but never hear from the only place that can do anything.... administation.... This site could be huge but sadly that will never happen if admin does not want to improve it..

Wonderful write cn. I think its the feeling with which one writes that should count. If one can made the reader understand what he is trying to convey that's fine.
No one is perfect and to pint one finger at someone causes 3 fingers to point at you. One should remember this.
Some people just need to criticize so let them do their job while we do ours- that of writing.

I don't see all the negativity towards Wikinut. Once in a while I comment, such as, "if you don't like Wikinut, move on!" Maybe we have whittled down to a rather select group of writers. Some writers "fly by", peck at us, leave some droppings and fly off, some stay longer and swamp us with a deluge of pre-posted pages, and the remainder stay here, find true friends, respect the moderators and enjoy learning and writing. You do well, cnwriter, to take note of those who leave and then fire pot shots from under cover of another writing site. I am bemused by this but attach little importance to it. Buzz is Buzz. Buzz, doesn't comment on my pages now; I think he is "sitting on the fence". There is something about Buzz that I find inscrutable but he lovable anyway.
