Meet the 11 members of the Philippine Olympic Team
11 for the Philippines
Philippines sent an 11-member team to represent the country in the 2012 London Olympics.
After the tough screening, 11 players qualified.
Philippine Olympic Team 2012 Players:
Rene Herrera - Athletics (5,000-Meter Run)
Brian Rosario - Shooting (Skeet)
Marestella Torres - Athelics (Women’s Long Jump)
Daniel “Dennis” Caluag - Cycling (BMX)
Hidilyn Diaz - Weightlifting (58 Kilograms)
Jasmine Alkhaldi - Swimming (100-Meter Freestyle)
Jessie Khing Lacuna - Swimming (200-Meter Freestyle)
Mark Javier - Archery
Mark Anthony Barriga - Boxing (Lighflyweight)
Rachel Cabral - Archery
Tomohiko Aldaba Hoshina - Judo (Super Heavyweight)
The Philippine Delegates this 2012 is the smallest ever since its First paticipation in 1932.
despite of the shortage of athletes, The Philippines still believes that their athletes will bring home some gold.
