“Passed the torch on to a well deserving artist, @PPhillipsAI11.. take it all in and enjoy it man!” Scotty McCreery tweeted.
On the other side of the world, something contrary to that is going on.

Phillip Phillips for the Filipinos
Filipinos still can't get over Jessica Sanchez defeat. Phillip Phillips' YouTube videos still have a lot of DISLIKES coming from God-knows where. Even Filipino celebrities tweeted and posted slams against Phillips. A Filipino anchorman even said that Idol should announce the vote figures to make the result transparent. It's like he's claiming that Idol was fixed. (He's not even in the position to do that because it's not Philippine Idol). All that because of that what we call "Filipino pride." Unfortunately, that Filipino pride is more words than action resulting to Jessica's poor sales figures.
