Putin Demands Obama Stop Protecting Monsanto
The Russian president is seething over the Obama administration's refusal to discuss banning pesticides the Russians believe are killing the world's bees.
Putin's meeting with John Kerry
Vladimir Putin is incensed at the Obama administration's refusal to discuss the matter of "colony collapse disorder," the massive die-off of bees all over the planet, with the Russians. Putin believes that Barack Obama is protecting global seed and bio-genetic giants Syngentia and Monsanto, according to topinfopost.com, "in the face of a growing 'bee apocalypse' that the Kremlin warns 'will most certainly' lead to world war.
The Kremlin, through Russia's Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, released the minutes of Putin's meeting with John Kerry on May 23, 2013. The minutes state that Putin was so enraged that the Obama "regime" refused to discuss "this grave matter" that he allowed Secretary of State John Kerry to sit for a full three hours before he agreed to see him in Moscow.
The MNRE report states there is "undisputed evidence" that a class of neuro-active insecticides, known as neonicotinoids, are destroying the planet's bee population, and left unchecked may destroy the world's capacity to produce enough food to feed its population.
The situation has become so dire, the MNRE states, that the full European Commission this past week instituted a two-year precautionary ban on these "bee-killing" pesticides, following the lead of France, Switzerland, Italy, Russia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
It is unconscionable that the Obama administration would not even agree to discuss the matter of colony collapse disorder and the role that chemicals made by Monsanto and Syngentia may be playing in the mass die-off of bees all around the globe. We are left only to conclude that these corporations own Mr. Obama.
