Ten Most Populated Countries: Is Overpopulation a Healthy Condition

Many people believed that China and India are the most blessed countries based from the number of people living in those regions and some people also believed that if those people in those regions will jump simultaneously – they can produce earthquake!
China and India population
As of November 1, 2010 Census result, the total population of China has reached so far to 1,339,724,852 which is equivalent to 19.16% of the world total population of 6,990,800,000. This is followed by India that total to 1,210,193,422 which are equals to 17.31% of world’s population. As of March 1, 2011 Census result. But according to a separate estimate by the United Nations, now the world population has already exceeded 7 billion.
China covers approximately 9.6 million square kilometers equivalent to 3.7 million square miles. It is the world’s second-largest country by land area.
57.88 percent of world population
As of May 1, 2008, according to world atlas the United Nations has 192 official members (including Montenegro and Serbia - the two newest nations). While the US State Department recognizes 194 independent countries around the world, but that list of countries reflects the political agenda of the United States of America. As an example, it includes Kosovo, but does not include Taiwan, as China claims that Taiwan (the ROC) is simply a province of China. Either 192 or 194 countries the world has - out of these countries the first ten populated countries listed below garnered a total of 57.88% of world population.

Is overpopulation a healthy condition?
Mr. Steve Jones, the head of the biology department at University College London, has said, "Humans are 10,000 times more common than we should be".
While The InterAcademy Panel Statement on Population Growth has stated that many environmental problems, such as:
- rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide,
- global warming,
- and pollution, are aggravated by the population expansion.
Other problems associated with overpopulation include:
- the increased demand for resources such as fresh water and food,
- starvation and malnutrition,
- consumption of natural resources faster than the rate of regeneration (such as fossil fuels)
- and a decrease in living conditions.
I guess, it is not yet too late to adapt family planning...

Overpopulation is a frightening issue that needs to be taken more seriously. Sadly many people find it easier to ignore or deny this issue than to address it.
My wife even has a blog about overpopulation as it is one of her big concerns too.

I am surely sure that world atlas is not lying when said, "There are about 134 babies born every minute around the world."
In one hour there are about 8,040 babies times 24 hours in one day equals to 192, 960 times 365 days = 70,430,400 babies in 1yr.

It would be my guess that Mr. Jones is going to hell. Atmospheric carbon dioxide levels were 400 times higher prior to the flood and people lived longer so that shouldn't be a concern. Last year being the coolest on record since they have been keeping records and on average lowering for the past fifteen years the global warming farce has been rebutted by the evidence. Earth is covered by two thirds water and it is the most abundant resource. People shouldn't pollute that is true. We waste enough food to feed another planet our size but that is geopolitical problem not the lack of food. There are enough discovered fuels to last us beyond our need for them. Living conditions again are geopolitical and needs to be addressed by the sheep that are ruled by goats. Being that the entire population could live comfortably in the state of Texas I fail to see any substance in your article that holds water, so to speak. There needs to be more people but they need to live smarter, that's all.

I'm guessing by 'flood' you mean Noah and the ark flood? That is a fairy tale like most everything else you've posted.
Atmospheric CO2 levels appear to be higher than they've been in 400 thousand years.
Last year was not the coolest on record.

Great star page. very informative. being pver populated can not be healthy for us at all and the governed should do something.
Ok its our choice to have children but if you had to support your own kids and didint get no help for your third child plus then ppl would stop having more than two children. but while they have bennifits ect ppl will keep having them. over here once your youngest child is four you have to go onto job seekers and start looking for work so what ppl are doing is waiting till their child is like three then have another baby so they can keep getting benefits and don't have to work.
