Twitter launches automatic shortening of links like adf.ly
Twitter launched the shortening of the links (URLs) feature !
Yet another success for Twitter !
Twitter has released a feature that would shorten the links automatically.
Twitter has been working to better its services and this is yet another feature which will help people to submit mobile links in shortened version without the third-party’s involvement.
Recently, Twitter has paid for the TweetDeck and then introduced a “Follow” tab. Right after that, it launched the new photo sharing tool and the lattest development is to automatically shorten the links. There has been this urge from the users that Twitter should launch a service which can save them time to go to other websites and shorten their links and post it on the messages.
The feature is quite simple. The user would compose the Tweet and then hit the “Tweet” button. After that, it would automatically shorten the link which would take upto 19 characters. This means that the users don’t have to worry or have a concern to fit it within the 140 characters limitation. This surely will make the sharing links simpler and instantaneous.
Another bright aspect of it is that the security is strengthened and the users would now be directed to a warning page if they want to click the link which has already been reported as malicious or spam.
Twitter has said that the new link-shortening feature will be launched out gradually.Which means it would only be used by a small percentage of the customers. But,it is hoped that it would be available for everyone in the near future.
Twitter is performing better with the demands of its users. And it is also hoped that in the future, we might see some revolutionary changes in the services.
