Deals done and press talk
The biggest news so far is the capture of ANDY CARROLL by WEST HAM from LIVERPOOL. Initially on a season long loan with the option to buy at the end of. A great signing I think by the Hammers, Carroll should fit perfectly into a team with two good wingers supplying an arsenal of crosses for the big centre forward!!
QPR bad boy JOEY BARTON has completed his move to MARSEILLES which appears to have placated all concerned.
After many malign comments, DIMITAR BERBATOV has now virtually sealed his move to FULHAM, after turning his back on FIOERENTINA, enfuriating them in the process!
ARSENAL's NIKLAS BENDTNER looks set to join Italian giants JUVENTES.
Staying with the Gunners, it looks like they are going to try and sign CHELSEA veteran MICHAEL ESSIEN on loan. A good holding midfielder but very injury prone and certainly not the player he was some 4/5 years ago. Bit of a gamble on Wenger's part I would have thought.
CHELSEA looking to bolster their attacking options with a £20m bid for very impressive German ANDRE SCHURRLE. If they do land him expect to see DANIEL STURRDIGE leave, probably on loan to LIVERPOOL.
