Easter Egg
As you must have noticed little Os are running around the screen attacking and destroying every search result – you even see the life bars depleting in true Real time Strategy style. Google has crafted this rather amusing little Easter egg called Zerg Rush
The Game
You'll find your results attacked by a swarm of floating "O"s. Seems Weird? But from a Gamer's perspective, its not good to be attacked by the swarm.
But you can also fight back. Float your mouse over them and you'll see crosshairs appear on the screen. Click anddestroy the O's - or zerglings - before they eat your search results and gather into two, large G's on the page. At the end of the game, you can share your scores via Google+, telling followers how many zerglings you took down When the animation finishes, you can post your score to Google+
In the end all the Zergs come together to form big 'G' at the bottom of the screen
Zerg Rush
wondering where did this came from?
In the hugely successful real-time strategy game Star Craft, the term "rush" is applied to any tactic in which you aim several of your battle units at your enemy at once, immediately overpowering them through sheer weight of numbers.
In the real-time strategy game Star Craft, it's a common tactic used by the alien race known as the Zergs. The search giant's latest Easter egg is a nod to "Starcraft" and a fun thing to do on a boring Friday
