Woman Arrested for Speaking too long at City Council Meeting

Shut up and sit down!
A sixty-year old grandmother was arrested and placed in handcuffs for speaking beyond her allotted three minutes during a City Council meeting in Riverside, California yesterday, October 29, 2012. Karen Wright was cited for disrupting a public meeting as she was commenting regarding a sledge-hauling contract. A uniformed police officer escorted her back to her seat, at which point she turned, faced the council, and yelled "I would like you to quit the harassment by the police."
Subsequently, Ms. Wright pulled away from the officer, but she was grabbed from behind, wrestled to the floor and put in handcuffs. Then, according to police, she made a scene, yelling that the cops were being too rough and complaining that the handcuffs were cutting off circulation art her wrists. "Can you see my wrists? You're pulling and jerking on my wrists!" Wright screamed. "I cannot get up without putting my hands down!"
The video below shows her on her knees shouting at the cops.
