Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has a decision to make if he wants to remain with the football team he has played for since 2004. Fitzgerald will have to accept a pay cut from his employer before the start of the free agent season in March 10, 2015. Fitzgerald could refuse to accept a pay cut and the Cardinals would have to release him so he could play football for another team in 2015.

Will Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald remain with the team in 2015?

Arizona Cardinals president Mike Bidwell said in a radio interview this week he is "confident" that Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will accept a pay cut from $23.6 million against the salary cap to remain with the football team in 2015.
Bidwell said in the radio interview that Fitzgerald does not want to leave the football team since the Cardinals do not want to pay him his full salary in 2015. The talks will begin to see if both Fitzgerald and the Cardinals can reach an agreement how large a pay cut Fitzgerald will accept to play football next year for the team he has played for since he was drafted in the 2004 National Football League Draft out of the University of Pittsburgh.
The Cardinals made it to the 2014 postseason with a regular season record of 11 wins and five losses. They lost to the Carolina Panthers in the National Football Conference Wild Card Game by a final score of 27-16.
Fitzgerald has to make a decision whether to stay with the Cardinals and take a pay cut or if the Cardinals have to release him due to the salary cap take his services to another team that could his services next football season.
Fitzgerald would like to play football for the Cardinals until his current contract ends at the end of the 2018 football season. But he also realizes that he would also want to achieve his dream of winning a Super Bowl before he retires from the game.
Time will tell if Fitzgerald will remain with the Cardinals for the next football season or will be playing football for another football team that will pay his salary that he has earned as one of the best wide receivers in the National Football League today.
I am sure Fitzgerald and the Cardinals management will work out a deal to keep him on the roster in 2015.
