Australian Man Claims to be Jesus

A man is Australia is claiming to be the reincarnation of Jesus, and he has no trouble getting some people to believe him.

Here we go again

It happens over and over, and now it has happened again. The ease with which people who claim to be a savior, a prophet or a special messenger of God can make others believe them is astounding.

A man in Australia, Alan John Miller, age fifty, an ex-software professional from Queensland, claims he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, and that he has vivid memories of his crucifixion: "When you are one with God you are not in a state of fear, and you have quite good control over your body's sensations and the level of pain that you absorb from your body. I have very clear memories of the crucifixion, but it wasn't as harrowing for me as it was for others like Mary who was present." As he said this he nodded toward his partner, Mary Luck, who he claims is Mary Magdalene, and she nodded in agreement.

Miller now has a stable of devoted followers who have come from far and wide in order to be close to him.

I wonder....why did it take Miller until he was fifty years old to announce he is Jesus reborn? And I am beyond wonder at how anyone can take this man seriously, yet if you watch the short video below, you will see that many do. Go figure.

Thankfully Steve , the real Jesus warned us in Matthew 24 verses 23 - 25 says ' At that time ( speaking of a time of great tribulation ) if anyone says to you ' Look , here is the Christ !' or, ' There He is !', do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect - if that were possible . See, I have told you ahead of time ...It goes on to tell us not to go here or there and follow such people....That seems clear to me .
Bless you Steve .

I agree with Stella, what this man is doing goes
against the teachings of Jesus.
If he's professing to be Jesus, then he needs to do a bit of 'revision' on his prior words.

Ask him why he suddenly vanished for ten years. Was he living in a cave during those ten years?

There are many who want escapism from a world of turmoil to seek refuge. Finally, they hear what they want to hear and feel comforted. There are many cults thriving everywhere. Thanks for this share, Steve - siva

And I also endorse Siva's words.
People choose to believe what brings them personal comfort and a road to follow they see as fulfilling the void in their lives.

Well its the association of criminals and fools are the believers. I rather stick with my own life's dream and pathway and leave them to their own interpretation of their own beliefs.
Wish them luck if they so say, may it reflect in their actions and truth of their own life and being.
His face speaks of turmoil of life not radiance of the divine being. I wish him well....

Interesting comments all, and I thank you all. What's astounding to me is that there are people out there who flock to this guy, believing what he claims. I guess what P. T. Barnum said is certainly true - "There's a sucker born every minute."

As my old and wise friend Jess always says . ' There's nothing as queer as folks , and the world is full of them !' I say amen to that .
Bless you Steve .

A Master who doesn't point you to the divinity inside you instead of himself isn't a true master.

Yes, saw this on the TV news. Just another silly cult! Haven't the saddos rushing be part of this man's flight of fancy ever heard the name David Koresh? Or the Rev Jim Jones (People's Temple) or Marshall Applewhite (Heaven's Gate) for that matter? Give me strength.
