Be Careful Of This Dark Vader?

In a galaxy far, far away and aeon's ago, there was a Galactic Empire, with an evil-eyed Emperor and his heavy-breathing sidekick, called Darth Vader...

Most Sinister Threat

Since then, we humans have identified our very own numerous corporate villains whom we love to hate. In the seventies there was AT&T, Who was followed by IBM in the 80s, followed by the evil empire of the 90s, Microsoft starring William “The Conqueror” Gates and Jobs. Once, a long time ago, at the start of the 2000's when Apple was mainly a computer manufacturer, people used to compare it to A certain Lesser luxury German sedan, basking in the shadow of its dominant older brother.

That was because it made equally expensive, nicely designed products for a niche market made up of rich, bling-conscious customers who also served as fanatical – evangelists for their brand. It was seen as remarkably innovative and quirky but not quite part of the mainstream, which at the time was dominated by Microsoft and the companies making the PCs that ran Windows software.

This view of Apple was summed up by Jack Tramiel, Commodore,s boss, when Steve Jobs first showed him the Macintosh computer. "Very nice, Steve," growled Tramiel. "I guess you'll sell it in boutiques."

That was a long time ago. Now, with a market capitalization of just over $331bn, Apple is the second most valuable company in the world – bigger than Microsoft ($220bn), Oracle ($167bn). The quirky little computer company has grown into a giant.

But not a giant of the Big Friendly variety, as the music and software industries have known for a while now. Apple now controls the commanding heights of the online content business and it looks like doing the same to the mobile phone industry. At the moment, it looks as though nobody has a good idea of how to slow it down or stop it.

Finally, we have Google. Don’t be fooled by their geeky external facade, whimsical multi-colored logo and their “don’t be evil” mantra. Google could very well be the single most sinister threat and wicked creation of all time.

The Dark Lord Himself

During an interview with the Atlantic newspaper a few years back, Google search’s dark lord himself, Eric Schmidt, said this: “Google policy is to get right up to the creepy line and not cross it.” He said, it gets even creepier when Schmidt said, “We don’t need you to type at all because we know where you are. We know where you’ve been. We can more or less guess what you’re thinking about.” He then paused and asked, “Is that over the line?”

1st November 2016 (#) Hi , Thank you for being on my readers list. I have been searching for about 2 years for a write for cash site which works as easily as wikinut and pays like Bubblews did in their heyday! One of our wikinutters, passed this information on to me of a brand new cash writing site which is similar to Bubblews and it pays its writers for original work. I joined and find their pay system very rewarding.
If you could use a few extra dollars like I do, and would like more details please join here:

Kindest regards,

Andre' (Tranquilpen)
PS: Many wikinut and Bubblews writing community are already there!
