Milwaukee Brewers will activate from the disabled list SS Jean Segura on Friday

Milwaukee Brewers first year manager Craig Counsell said on Tuesday the good news that shortstop Jean Segura who has placed on the 15 day disabled list on May 14, 2015 will be activated to the 25 man roster on Friday.
Segura broke his pinkie finger on his right hand on May 13 in a baseball game versus the Chicago White Sox which placed on the 15 day disabled list the following day.
The Brewers replaced Segura on the 25 man roster on May 14 by calling up from the Colorado Springs Sky Sox baseball team shortstop Luis Sardinas to replace Segura on the 25 man roster.
Segura had his right pinkie finger examined in Milwaukee by Doctor William Raasch on Monday. The results of the exam showed that Segura's right pinkie finger injury had healed.
The Brewers decided not to allow Segura to have a rehabilitation assignment with their minor league teams this week which is unusual since the majority of the time when a player suffers an injury, they are sent to the minor leagues for a period of a few days so they can be ready to play in the Major League Baseball level.
The Brewers on Friday will be hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks for a three game series to be played at Miller Park which is the home stadium of the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Brewers who are currently in last place in the National League Central Division standings are also expecting the return of catcher Jonathan Lucroy who is recovering from a broken toe in his left foot that was injured during a baseball game on April 20, 2015 when he was hit a foul ball.
Lucory was sent to the disabled list on April 21, 2015. Lucroy will be spending time in the Brewers minor league system on a rehabilitation assignment so he can work of his ability to hit a baseball before he returns to the Brewers team later this month.
Segura had a batting average of .262 in 33 games at the time he injured his right pinkie finger.
