Chinese space probe sends panoramic image of the Moon

The photograph was taken with three cameras that are positioned at different angles in Chang'e - 3. Apart from the lunar soil, shows the robot Yutu responsible for analysis of lunar soil during shipment.
The chief responsibility for the mission, Liu Enhai explained to the Chinese channel CCTV that the image shows an area of the moon known as Mare Imbrium ("Sea of Rains"). It is possible to observe a crater of considerable size , and smaller ones , just ten meters from the probe.
The expedition lasts two weeks and aims to conduct a scientific analysis and send to Earth three-dimensional images of the Moon. This is just one of the steps of the Chinese space program. In 2007 it was sent the first probe, Chang'e - 1, which traveled around the Moon, and in 2010, the Chang'e - 2. The second phase is out of the Chang'e - 3 and Chang'e - 4 will be sent in 2017. Subsequently, two additional probes will be sent to the return to Earth.
