Darren McFadden named starting running back for Dallas Cowboys by owner Jerry Jones

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on Tuesday made an announcement that Darren McFadden will replace Joseph Randle as the lead running back when the Cowboys host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday November 1, 2015 at A T & T Stadium in Arlington Texas.
Dallas Cowboys lead running back Joseph Randle suffered an oblique injury during the Cowboys 27-20 loss to the New York Giants last Sunday.
McFadden played football for the Oakland Raiders from 2008-2014 before he signed a two year, $3 million contract to join the Cowboys before the start of the current football season.
The Cowboys (2-4) are currently in last place in the National Football Conference East Division standing two games behind the New York Giants (4-3) are the current leaders of the division.
The Seahawks (3-4) are currently in third place in the National Football Conference Western Division standings two games behind the Arizona Cardinals (5-2).
The oblique injury to Randle will keep out of the staring lineup for a short period of time. McFadden will have a chance to give the Cowboys to win their third football game of the 2015 football season due to his excellent performance as the lead running back in the Cowboys loss to the Giants last Sunday.
McFadden will be backed up third year running back Christine Michael and rookie running back Rod Smith.
The Cowboys are going to have to rely on their running game if they stand a chance to beat the Seahawks next Sunday in Arlington.
The Cowboys need to beat the Seahawks to have any chance of making another playoff run during the current football season. A healthy McFadden should be able to give the Cowboys a better chance to end their four game losing streak next Sunday.
