The bid winners Sepp Blatter announced for the 2018 and 2022 Fifa World Cup bitterly disappointed Britain, Australia and many other football loving nations around the globe.

Fifa Has Done It Again!

Even after an effort made by Prince William, British Prime Minister David Cameron and David Beckham to travel to Zurich to convince Fifa President Sepp Blatter and his executive committee to let the World Cup return to England, it was Qatar and Russia (both streaming to the brim with oil) that did a much better job of alluring Sepp Blatter and his corruption riddled committee.

Russia, a mob-run country, won the 2018 Fifa World Cup bid. England got only 2 of the 30 votes, the corruption stained Soviet Union won with 22 votes.

Australia, Japan, South Korea and The United States of America lost out the 2022 World Cup bid to Qatar. Qatar is ranked 113th in Fifa’s world rankings. Qatar is a desert country with no freedom of speech, where homosexuality is a crime, women are 2nd rate citizens and alcohol is verboten!

Fifa’s decision has even brought criticism from US president Barack Obama, saying, “It’s a wrong decision.” Comparing South Korea’s 20th and USA’s 24th Fifa world rankings to Qatar’s, makes it obvious to see that the 2022 World Cup shouldn’t be hosted in that blazing hot country where temperatures could soar up to 53˚C during the June – July months of the World Cup.

What came to at the end of the day were just three mafia organizations having an evening dinner and discussing business deals.

I found these decisions shocking also. I'm not really bothered about the decision not going the way of England but Russia and especially Qatar were just bizarre decisions. FIFA stinks of corruption, it is really just an exclusive club for these idiots to get together and laugh at the little people. thanks for posting this interesting article
