Oakland Raiders will be visited by free agent wide reciever Michael Crabtree next week

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree who became a free agent at the end of the 2014 football season will be visiting the Oakland Raiders next week to seek employment next week.
Crabtree was a first round choice of the San Francisco 49ers in the 2009 National Football League Draft. Crabtree recently visited the Miami Dolphins to seek employment with the team but he was not able to reach an agreement to sign a contract with the Dolphins.
Crabtree is scheduled to visit the Oakland Raiders next week. The Raiders need a wide receiver on their roster before the 2015 football season begins. Crabtree who has been slowed down after he suffered an torn Achilles tendon in 2013 is not exactly the type of wide receiver that could help the Raiders improve their chances of winning football game in 2015.
San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said he would like to re-sign Crabtree before the start of the 2015 football season if Crabtree cannot find employment with another football team beside the 49ers.
The free agent market to hire Crabtree has not been exactly been welcome to a wide receiver who has lost a step in his breakaway speed in 2015.
It is possible that the Raiders could sign Crabtree to a contract before the start of the 2015 football season since they have the reputation of signing football players that are no longer wanted by their former teams to continue playing football for their team.
It remains to be seen if Crabtree will re-sign a contract with the 49ers or he will find employment with the Raiders or another football team before the start of the 2015 football season.
Another option that Crabtree would have is to retire from playing football in the National Football League since his lower leg injuries are telling him it is time to leave the gridiron this year.
