Today, it's probably true that your whole life is centered and stored on your computer, whether it be a desktop, notebook, or tablet. And in an instant, it could be G O N E !

Hard disks crash, notebook computers get stolen and tablets get dropped and then what do you do? Now is the time to BACKUP! Not tomorrow, T O D A Y and automate it.

Files, Data, Photos ... Your Life

It probably started with a photo, then a spreadsheet, then a letter to your friend, more photos, your financial history - checkbook, credit cards, mortgage payments, your will. Soon the kilobytes turned into megabytes and heading for gigabytes and on the horizon terabytes. We're talking some serious bits and bytes here.

And given time ALL HARD DISKS WILL FAIL. Some today, some tomorrow, next week... all unexpectantly. So what do you do? Backup your files. You can buy thumbdrives, external drives, CDs, DVDs, a SANS

You can choose among the growing number of online services (currently called "the cloud" - isn't it funny how they've taken a service from the 1960s and 1970s "timesharing services" and now call it the cloud?"

Its a good thing to pick a certain date to be sure you've done your backups.

I back up when I can but it is a losing proposition due to lack of time - siva
