Monsanto Brings its Lies to the Classroom

Monsanto has no scruples. They are now invading our classrooms and pushing their lies as truth

Monsanto lies

Monsanto Chemical Corporation, along with Dupont Chemical and Dow Chemical and others, are pushing their lies upon the most impressionable among us - our children. Monsanto is passing out a cheery looking children's book which greets the kids thus: "Hi kids! This is an activity book for young people like you about biotechnology - a really neat topic. Why is it such a neat topic? Because biotechnology is helping to improve the health of the Earth and the people who call it home."

Of course, the exact opposite is true, but that evidently causes not a single employee of these chemical companies or anyone in their advertising agencies to lose even a minute's sleep at night.

Teach your children well

The children's activity book, Look Closer at Biotechnology, is brought to your children courtesy of the industry's mouthpiece group, the Council for Biotechnology Information.

Our duty as parents, I believe, is to monitor what teachers expose our kids to in school, particularly when they are young and impressionable. The public schools, after all, exist to mold children in to malleable, accepting, non-questioning robots who will shut up, accept everything they are told, and never question anything. Ideally then, you will want to home-school your children, so they won't be dumbed down into acceptance and this kind of propagandist garbage won't be foisted upon them.

You are absolutely right, Steve. Since teachers are badly paid almost all over the world only those go there whose studying result is not enough to be a doctor, a lawyer, an economist or engineer. Sometimes they are too tired to look after certain information whether they are correct or not, but sometimes they themselves do not have the brain capacity to cope problems like this. My nephew told me years ago.'I hate school because the teachers fool into my brain.' And I - as a teacher - had to agree with him.

Cant believe it can be happening although I know it is. I have been on the warpath against Monsanto since they started producing GMO's. At the first Italian Viniculture and Viticulture Symposium here in Los Angeles a group of young men stood up and shared how the bully boys from Monsanto had been sent into south American and were murdering all the farmers who would not use their chemical offerings....
Big business, big profit total againstness to what is loving and caring and good for us...
Sorry Steve I had to rant but thank you for once again bringing this type of information forward...blessings...

Monsanto is probably the worst, most corrupt corporation on the face of the planet. Thanks for sharing that cnwriter.

Cnwriteer, thanks for sharing this information which is as important as Steve's. I would be interested to know more about it. Why don't you write an article about this topic? I'll be one of your first readers.

Unfortunately with all of the budget cuts, the door is wide open for any special interest group to produce literature that "sounds" scientific and offer it for free.

Great article, Steve. People of their ilk are also promoting GMO's here and thankfully they were fiercely resisted.

Thanks, Steve, for heads up! Yes, home schooling would be best actually, but it isn't allowed in many countries. I think the very best thing is if parents educate their children to be discerning, to investigate the truth for themselves and make up their minds for themselves. And also parents should try to instill a love for studying independently from school where it is more fun and more accurate. This is how my brother and I were brought up and I cannot thank my parents enough for this.

I will take this up and publish my own blog post about this issue and will link to your post!

Thanks, Steve: I was not aware of some of the pros and cons about biotechnology. I have been reading a lot about it; thanks to you. I think the giant corporations think so many of us are a "push-over". How can this information get more publicity as regards the "cons"? I wonder if the "mad cow" disease was one of the disasters of biotechnology.

I don't know, but I would not be surprised if it were. Thanks Ivyevelyn.
