A new Selfie trend from Canada brings not only the photographer before the lens, but also a grizzly or brown bear.

New Selfie trend from Canada

Take his face and a smartphone, stretch the arm's length and point the camera at the face - that is the Selfie. Selfies have long not a new trend anymore, but the old hats in the social networks. However, when the vile Selfie adds a very special ingredient, it is a new - lethal - Trend.

The ingredient is called brown bear, black bear or grizzly and since it is abundant, especially in Canada, this trend comes with the aptly named "Bearselfie" also from the great country across the pond. A sample on Twitter with the hashtag #bearselfie shows amused, anxious or teasingly looking into the camera face - and a full-grown bear in the background. Often these are just a few meters away from the Selfie Clippers!

Bears are fast sprinters and skilled climbers, but also good swimmers. We, therefore, strongly advise from an imitation of photos. See it the American Forestry officials in South Lake Tahoe so and recommend in an official communication to the visitors to stay at a distance.

Unobtrusive visitors

Bears are unpredictable - the photographer risking serious injury or death. And not only their own, but also the death of the bear. If this fact is used by intrusive photographers to man, he did not shun it and also comes unobtrusive visitors and populated areas dangerously close.

The frightened people then perhaps unintentionally provoke an attack, and the police and park rangers have to move out to capture or kill the bear before it accumulates more people.

I have read on the internet reports about how people have taken pictures of themselves in some very dangerous places. It is one thing to love yourself but it is better to have common sense.

It is one thing to take a picture of yourself occassionally, but to risk your life to take one is a bit of a stretch for me.
