Obama and Putin Drive Chinese Crazy With Chewing Gums and Shawls!

Chinese are very upset with Obama chewing gum and Putin offering shawls to the first lady; these two actions must not occur in China.

Obama Chews Gum While Chinese Premier Watches

The Chinese were livid. Despite Obama's Chinese purple coat, he had not been able to mollify the Chinese during the APEC consortium. Basically, Obama had no clue why the Chinese were so upset with him; didn't he wear the purple coat? Yes, it's a different matter that China held a big chunk of America's 17 trillion debt. Any human knows the obvious imbalance of power between a debtor and debtee. Apparently Obama has no concept of what a debt is or how it could be reduced; all he knows is how to increase it. Nonetheless, Chinese expected Obama to behave himself and not come to their meetings chewing gum. They think chewing gum is absolutely disrespectful - much more than killing of millions, Mao style. If Obama were not the president of America, they would have sent him for some good old hard labor, maybe 15 years or more. Chinese expected Obama to know: IT IS FORBIDDEN TO CHEW GUM WHEN IN CHINA!

Two Troublemakers in the House of Trouble

Chewing gum or not, Obamas do seem to have a nasty problem; they tend to misbehave in America as well in China. Michelle Obama had a similar behavior problem on an earlier trip to China. Close to Obama, just across Alaska, in the cold fields of Russia, there is another misbehaving head of state by the name of Putin who is quite macho aka KGB aka ladies' man; horse riding, black belt chop chop man; a guy who just beat Obama by topping Forbes' list of most powerful man! Clearly Obama and Putin were a handful for the Chinese to handle at APEC.

Putin Throws a Shawl on Chinese First Lady While Chinese Premier Watches

Just when Xi was trying to establish rules of engagement for Obama, here was another bad ass, beloved only to Russians, Putin chivalrously placed a pretty shawl on the delicate shoulders of First Lady of China! Putin happened to be just out of reach of Xi's eager sickle. What was wrong with these Americans and Russians? Sorry to say, nobody has been able to crack this conundrum especially when they inadvertently work together. So the Chinese who have zero understanding of human pleasures, went immediately to work to set straight the balance of power and Chinese etiquette. IT IS FORBIDDEN TO PUT A SHAWL ON FIRST LADY BY RUSSIANS! China's propaganda media machine went to work on Obama's chewing cud and wiping off Putin's smug grin. Entire Russia smiled while Americans didn't know what the fuss was about this chewing gum issue! Incredulous people, they thought! China's Premier Xi dictated the punk Putin's macho image be wiped off clean from Internet, Newspapers and TV. Simultaneously, Xi decreed that state media should go full force exposing the first punk, Obama and his deplorable chewing gum.

He was in China to influence them to curb CO2 emissions over there while tightening regulations here at home. All this occurs as a last ditch effort to bring the unwilling Chinese on board with the global warming hoax while Americans have lost interest in that non-issue and now realize how the hoax cost us our economy.

The social gaffes with the gum and disregard for Chinese diplomatic custom shows our president as quite a natural bumbling buffoon. But then, he was never adept at foreign relations other than to promote his agenda, in this case, fueling the fire of global warming advocacy.

Thank you LeRain.
I thought it was quite amusing with the way these two men went about their business knowing full well the Chinese don't listen to anyone or anything.

This sounds like a serious error on the part of the people who are paid to take note of diplomatic protocol when foreign visits are made.

Apart from that, it is highly disrespectful anyway to chew gum when meeting someone else for the first time, whoever they might be - anyone who does so in my presence gets a low mark for starters!

I cannot comment on Putin's behaviour or intent Joyce , but I am only too aware of the American bad habit of chewing gum .
The reason I call it bad is because the prolific chewers that I have known over the years have done so whilst in Church , where it not only looks disgusting but they are not in the presence of human Presidents , but are in the presence of the Lord and Creator of the whole Universe Himself.
If any one was caught chewing while in audience with our Queen a spittoon would be provided whereby the glob would immediately be expelled .
Maybe these protocols should be learnt and observed before addressing dignitaries from other nations .
Just a thought .
Bless you
Stella ><

Thanks for your remark. It seems American people and media are more interested in discrediting and disrespecting our President Obama at all turns, on an issue than to look to the hills from whence cometh our help. People in general do not respect their Creator, our All Mighty God, who declare that we should obey the laws of the land and respect our President, which He carries on His shoulder. So, if they do not respect our God, it's easier for them to be overly concerned with pleasing man and the world. I want to bet that American media and those that hate our Presudent have put more time and energy into President Obamas gum chewing incident thanmth Chinesei government ever did. Get serious America. It's difficult to fathom that this nation was found on Christian principles as worldly as you have become.

Thanks Joyce for sharing this article. I read the article through twice and this strange thought kept coming to mind. I wonder if there's any possibility the president could have done it on purpose. It's just a thought. As for Putin I've been around lots of ladies men over the years and they almost always throw caution to the wind and do whatever they please if there's a pretty face involved. I've seen it many times. Smiles to you today and always.

Thanks for sharing this informative information Joyce. I did not realize that Obama could chew gum and talk or even think at the same time. Perhaps this idiot is smarter than I give him credit for. Wonder if he can chew gum while playing golf?

George Bush played golf hundreds of times as president - Obama just a dozen or so. But who gets trashed for it - Obama of course.

I was just informed by Joyce Singha-Ghosh husband Maunish that Joyce passed away Yesterday morning. Joyce was Politisite Human Interest Editor - Joyce was an Immigrant from India to the United States which gave her a special vantage point on politics. Joyce was a graduate in Films and Communications but found herself gravitating toward writing. She has made short documentaries for Unicef and Indian TV. Joyce also wrote for Yahoo, Allvoices, The Examiner and her Blog http://www.joyce-iamwhatiyam.blogspot.com on politics, religion, spirituality, family, cultural idiosyncrasies and anything else that caught her fancy. Joyce believed humor to be an essential ingredient of life and loved art, poetry and books.

I knew that Joyce was working on a grant to work with veterans with PTSD and TMI. It is a tribute to her character and displays the type of person she was, to be willing to work with such a difficult diagnosis and veterans. The world needs more people like Joyce.

I will miss her phone calls. I will miss her writing. But most of all, I will miss her sweet spirit and humility. Joyce was one of a kind. The world is at a loss to replace her, but the heavens are all the more better today.

I'm so sad to hear this. She was an absolute original. Even when I disagreed with her, I admired her convictions and corresponding talent. A true loss for the Wikinut community.
