Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback Ben Roethisberger suffered a sprain to his left foot during the second half of the Steelers 38-35 win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. Roethlisberger is not expected to return as the starting quarterback of the Steelers until Sunday December 6 when the Steelers will be hosting the Indianapolis Colts.

A sprained left foot will sideline Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for two weeks

Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on Sunday afternoon suffered a sprain to his left foot in the second half of the Steelers 38-35 win over the Oakland Raiders at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
Landry Jones who is the third string quarterback of the Steelers replaced Roethlisberger for the remainder of the football game versus the Raiders.
Roethlisberger will not be able to make his next scheduled start versus the Cleveland Browns next Sunday. Landry Jones is expected to be named to be the starting quarterback of the Steelers for the football game versus the Browns.
The Steelers will have a bye week after the Browns football game next Sunday. The Steelers will be their 11th football game versus the Seattle Seahawks that will be played at CenturyLink Field in Seattle Washington on Sunday November 29, 2015. Roethlisberger is not expected to make his next start against the Seahawks since the Steelers do not want to rush him back from his left foot injury.
Roethlisberger is likely to make his next start on Sunday December 6, 2015 when the Steelers host the Indianapolis Colts at Heinz Field.
The Steelers (5-4) are currently in second place in the American Football Conference North Division standings behind the Cincinnati Bengals (8-0).
The Steelers who are the defending American Football Conference Division champions are currently in contention to make the playoffs this year.
Steelers quarterback Landry Jones will have to play the role of caretaker of the football for the next two football games until Roethlisberger is able to return to his role as the leader of the football team in four weeks.
