So, we all heard about SOPA, and PIPA in the United States, right? How about SOCA in the United Kingdom which has been put as a law, without citizens says?

What Happened

Well, SOCA has already taken down a site named RnBXclusive, for hosting illegally stolen music/tracks/songs from Artists in the United Kingdom.

When visiting RnBXclusive's website your faced with a warning message from SOCA, along with some information on your IP Address (Internet Protocol) and other various bits of information, that SOCA uses to indentify people visiting that website.

Shocking Visitors

Apparently visiting the website could allow you to face up to 10 years imprisonment, and an unlimited fine. So, you all thought SOPA and PIPA were stupid? SOCA is worse.

So, yet again we need another internet blackout.

My Opinion

Governments should not be allowed to control the Internet, no one owns the Internet, just individuals own there own webstes ON the Internet. Governments own and control countries, that's it. The Internet is not a country, and therefore cannot possibly be legalised, surely? Oh, well for the record Governments think it is, shows how dumb they are, ey?

I beg everyone to be careful when visiting that website as you may be contacted by United Kingdom Authorities about your use of that website.

Frightening to say the least, especially if just visiting a site can get you in trouble.

Hey, that's rather tough. I hope they've done enough public rallies to educate and warn people about this.

Thanks for sharing!
