Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch active for the Sunday Night Football game

The Seattle Seahwks (4-4) will have the services of their lead running back Marshawn Lynch who has been battling a stomach injury as well as a hamstring injury in their next football game versus the Arizona Cardinals (6-2). Seahawks rookie running back Thomas Rawls will be sharing running back duties with Lynch who goes by the nickname the "Beast Mode."

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch who had been listed as questionable on the National Football League injury report that was submitted to the officials of the league on Friday will be on the 53 man active roster for the team on Sunday night.
The Seahawks (4-4) will be hosting the Arizona Cardinals (6-2) on Sunday Night Football that will be played at CenturyLink Field in Seattle Washington.
Lynch has been battling a hamstring injury and an abdominal injury that has limited him to playing six football game for the defending National Football Conference champions.
Lynch will be having a limited role during the football game versus the Cardinals since he was not able to participate in the team drills on Friday.
Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls will get the lead role as the running back for the football team on Sunday night.
The Seahawks do not want to rush Lynch back into a full time role as the lead running back until he has recovered from his abdominal and hamstring injuries since they have eight football games remaining on their current regular season schedule.
The Seahawks need to beat the Cardinals on Sunday evening to have a chance to qualify for a playoff berth either as a wild card or division champion.
Since Lynch had a limited practice schedule this week due to his abdominal injury, the Seahawks will be limiting the amount of plays during the football game versus the Cardinals.
Lynch was a first round draft choice of the Buffalo Bills in the 2007 National Football League Draft out of the University of California, Berkeley.
Lynch has played football as a running back for the Bills from 2007-2010 and the Seattle Seahawks from 2010-present.
Lynch has one Super Bowl ring as a member of the Super Bowl XLVIII Seattle Seahawks football team.
