This story was broadcast on the national news about a homeless man who has great vocal chords.

A Great "Golden Voice" Finds a Home.

There is another Ted Williams, one who was a homeless man on the streets in Columbus, Ohio, begging just a few days ago. A passerby saw him begging, holding up a sign which in part read "I have a Golden Voice". The driver stopped his car and asked the man to give him a demonstration of his golden voice. The driver had his video camera with him and taped Mr. Williams as he spoke.

Mr. Williams it seems was a former DJ on the radio and had fallen on hard times indulging in drugs and alcohol which ultimately landed him on the streets without a job.
He said during the video taping that he had been clean for two years and on the street for a year.

Back to the golden voice, Mr. Williams gave an impromptu announcement harkening back to his former radio DJ days and sure enough he spoke with clarity, distinction and a very mellow, great sounding voice. One might say Mr. Williams has a voice that has dulcet tones which resound.

The video that was recorded was taken by the person who taped it and downloaded
on to You-Tube, within a short space of time, Mr. Williams was receiving multiple offers to work in broadcasting again. Of those offers Mr. Williams accepted one from the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team to join them as an announcer and to also receive a home in which to live. How great is that?

An announcement was also made on MSNBC by Keith Obermann that Mr. Williams will be working for NBC to promote their new slogan "lean forward" in the future. All very good fortune for Mr. Williams who has the vocal chords to back up his claim of having a "Golden Voice".
