This is a summary of the victims of Jack the Ripper

The Victims

During 1888, Jack the ripper a world’s famous serial killer had killed five women in London.
On August 31, 1888 the body of Polly Nichols was lying on the ground in the early morning and there was a deep slash to her throat and severe cuts to her abdomen and womb.
Annie Chapman a 47 year old penniless prostitute moved from one lodging house to the next when she could afford to pay for her room. On September 8, 1888 she was thrown out of her lodging house in the morning to earn money for her bed. Several hours later her body was found in the same condition as Polly Nichols.
Elizabeth Stride was the daughter of farmer and born in Sweden. One September 29, 1888 she left her boarding house after 7:00pm. After six hours her dead body was discovered in a narrow yard on Berner Street. Catherine was also killed on the same night. She was born on England and was habitual of drinking and prostitute herself when she was drunk. She lived with Thomas Conway 20 years and produced three children. On the night when Elizabeth was killed she told John Kelly her the man she had been living with for the last 7 years that she was going to borrow money from her daughter but she didn’t arrived at her daughter’s house and was arrested by police for drunkenness. She was released at 1:00pm and went for home but she never reached home. Her body was identified in Mitre Square as drunk.
Mary Kelly was one of the street walkers, earning via trade to give the rent. On the evening of November 8, 1888 her lover Joer Barnett parted her. The landlord’s assistant knocked on the door next morning to ask about past due rent. There was no answer so he reached inside a broken window and peered through curtains. He saw Mary’s mutilated body lying on her bed. Her body was so severely mangled that her lover Joe Barneett would only be able to identify her by her fair hair and eyes.
After her murder Jack the Ripper stopped his attacks. Since the cases of his victim were never solved, the mystery of murders of these five women has made it a legend.
