What We Have Become

In lieu of recent events and the way they were reported in the media. I wonder what as a society, have we become.

The Future

While, best we can tell, objectivity has given over to ideologies. I wonder if an objective journalist would, any longer have a following. People are very much divided, that is an obvious observation, understandably so. Despite all the talk about tolerance and diversity, the biggest failure of this social engineering experiment has been the growing division amongst the minions by the Elites. One would think it can be evident; this has been going on for centuries, i.e. ‘divide and conquer’.

What is so often overlooked is the basic human bond (DNA) that glues us. In a disaster, the basic need to help our fellow man overrides our societal taught prejudices.

Perhaps our failed educational system bears more than, it’s share of the blame. In scrubbing out cultural heroes in the name of political correctness, what an oxymoron, and inclusiveness, we have deprived individuals of concrete role models to aspire to, leaving a societal vacuum with a need to belong to something we can be part of.

I think as a result of emerging from a, live and let live, to were a few are always trying to control the many, society. This is an equation that never has and never will play out and will always fuel cultural wars, either with words or bombs, I personally prefer, words. If you really think about it, have words ever hurt anyone?

In a court of public opinion as long as words are without evidence, we remain free to pursue our personal endeavors without fear, of being, ostracized, which throughout history has been the biggest contribution to society as a whole, the ability of individuals to express themselves and live out their dreams.

The clown picture was a great choice. Thanks for sharing your views.
I have pretty much stopped watching the news myself, because of what it does to use as people.

<------standing up, applauding.
Well said! One thing that gets my panties in a wad is, reporters with a agenda. I miss the old days when you couldn't tell if they were left, right or another. I hate they leave out facts or maybe water them down a bit, so they don't hurt their agenda. I want the truth, the whole truth and nothing but, the truth. I also love the clown picture, it is so fitting. Well done! Thank you for sharing.:)

Like I tell my momma, was it reported on the tree out back? If not then it's either a lie or it doesn't pertain to me. Thanks, for the visit.
