Which Came First? Egg or Chicken? Science Has An Answer Now. Many riddles of life can find some answer in course of time.

Centuries old riddle

It has been a traditional riddle for thousands of years: Which came FIRST? Egg or Chicken? The world is happy today that Science has found the answer now.

The chicken comes from the egg and the egg from the chicken. But which one was the first one. Perhaps this answer may lead to discovering many other riddles of life.

The question that has baffled the world of science has found an ultimate answer by solving the scientific and philosophic mystery that chicken is the first.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Scientists from Sheffield and Warwick universities have proven that the formation of egg shells relies completely on a protein found only in a chicken’s ovaries. This leads to the final conclusion that an egg can exist only if it has been inside a chicken and so the chicken should be the first one to exist.

Chicken came first

The protein substance called OC-17 acts as the catalyst necessary to speed up the development of the shell. This protein substance converts calcium carbonate into calcite crystals and produce the egg shell.

Earlier there the ASAP Science videos have been explaining that the egg came first, whether it is considered a proto-chicken egg or a chicken egg.

Riddles of history

History has seen many discoveries that were said final have been reverted by fresh results. Let us see what the scientific world will move further with this this discovery which it says that it is final.

History can reveal many more. Wait and see.

Why did the chicken go for an egg, rather than a life birth like so many other animals though?

Eggsplain please?

As per the theory of evolution, the common Hen and Rooster we see today evolved from some common Jungle fowls, and the first popular chicken came as a result of their interbreeding. So, the "first" egg in question was in fact the first of a new species!
