There are new Wikinut moderators. Who are they and What could it mean?

Wikinut Increases the Number of its Moderators

Yesterday, Rathnashikamani earned a Star Page on Wikinut when he announced important news in his piece titled, Congratulations to Steve Kinsman the Wikinut Moderator! I thank Rathnashikami for sharing this important information, because it represents a key development on the Wikinut site. However, I will take this announcement one step further and mention that yesterday Peter B. Giblett also became a Wikinut moderator. Here is the first piece of content that he moderated, Why is Obama Indicting Whistleblowers?

Previous to this announcement the current Wikinut moderating duties fell upon the shoulders of Johnny Dod and Mark Gordon Brown. Accordingly, when you increase the number of active moderators from two to four it is a 100% increase. You cannot argue that this is not a substantial increase.

I do not feel that these promotions reflect anything negative about the moderating performances of either Johnny Dod or Mark Gordon Brown. Though I am only a novice Wikinutter, I can unequivocally state that both of these fine men reviewed, moderated and published my articles in a timely and satisfactory manner. In addition, both of them have gone out of their way to provide me with helpful feedback and have always been more than generous with their time in answering the many questions that I have posed to them.

From my perspective, the addition of Steve Kinsman and Peter B. Giblett as a moderators will only benefit Wikinut. I see this move positively impacting Wikinut in several ways. First, should the volume of submissions to Wikinut remain about the same as it is now, these moves will either allow the submitted content to the site to be reviewed, moderated and published even faster or it will provide Johnny and Mark an opportunity to take some additional time of respite. Additionally, these promotions will equip Wikinut with more manpower to manage any increase in submissions to the site without negatively influencing the amount of time it takes a piece of content to go from submission to publication.

Please to take this moment to congratulate Steve Kinsman and Peter B. Giblett on their new roles as a Wikinut moderators. As for myself, I look forward to submitting my content to them for their review and moderation and benefiting from all of their Wikinut wisdom. I hope that you look forward to this as well.

Remember, you too can submit content to Wikinut and earn money too. Give it a try and click here.

Thanks for this article, Han. Speaking for myself, if I can be half as effective as Mark and Johnny I'll be happy with my performance.

Han, as far as I know there are also four other moderators, The Chief Nut, and Sam Wormleighton plus two others that I have come across over time. For me it is a pleasure to assist and I think Wikinut will continue to grow to become a powerful writer's community.

Perhaps moderating is where the potential earnings are actually here?!

And so you will be, one day, Han. You might even be the moderator to moderate the moderators.

I think its great news and big congratulations to Steve and Peter. I think adding more moderators shows how much Wikinut is growing. If we have more moderators it must be because of more contributions :-)

Of course it would be nice to see a lady moderator appointed for all the girl stuff articles :-) And NO! I'm not volunteering lol.

Great to see both Steve and Peter, it will take the load off Johnny and Mark. I've already noticed articles becoming published more quickly, long may that last!

I know Sam and the chief nut were both moderators, but I don't think we need to include them as they no longer moderate, in answer to Melissa's question, both male and females where invited .

So, Johnny, who are our moderators? You, Mark (I thought Mark was the Chief Moderator), Peter and Steve. That's four. Not forgetting Dolly Ducktail, of course!

Thanks, Han, for this article. I'm just wondering what has happened to Lalus (this one I'm always unable to memorize) and Bethany Dean?

Great Article, Han. I thought that Wikinut had more than two Moderators. I haven't had a problem with getting published and I say hats off to a couple of great guys for a job well done.
