4th Impact leaves the competition after getting the lowest number of votes on last Sunday’s (UK) elimination round of X Factor UK 2015.

4th Impact Bids Goodbye

The girls were in bottom two along with Lauren Murray which led the two contenders to the sing-offs. 4th impact gave a powerful rendition of “I Am Telling You” by Jennifer Hudson which moves their mentor, Cheryl, standing after their performance. The girls stunned the arena with their high notes and vocal acrobatics. Meanwhile, Lauren gave a dynamic performance of “Vision of Love”. She effortlessly hit the high notes and stunned the crowd with her voice.

After the performances, the judges voted who they are going to send home and who will remain in the competition. Nick and Rita voted off 4th impact while Cheryl and Simon send Lauren home. Simon took some time to give his verdict telling the audience that it was the best sing-off in the competition.

Since the panel was divided, the decision was reverted to the public votes in the dead lock. After reading the card, Olly announced the 4th impact got the lowest vote and will be leaving the competition.

Reaction

While many are still in shock, social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter flooded with commentaries and expression of disappointments. 4th impact trended on Twitter with their fans showing sympathy and sadness for the unexpected elimination. Last Saturday, it was thought that it was the best performance of the girls taking a new challenge in delivering a ballad from the Jackson’s 5, “I’ll be there” and a mash-up in their second song.

After the show, Cheryl took the interview portion with Melvin and Rochelle since one of the girls, Selena, was not in good shape and was taking care of by her sisters and family members. Cheryl said that she was sad about the results and that what went wrong was probably the public went relax since the girls had great performances.

Before finally leaving the stage the girls thank the British public for accepting them throughout the competition.

Truly sir! I'm glad to see you around. I've been busy lately making minimal to zero time for wiki but I'm trying to stick around.
